2018 GRAMMY nominee Scott Sharrard had been the touring guitarist for the Gregg Allman Band since the Fall of 2008. He’s been called “one of the best guitarists in the country” by Billboard. Gregg Allman, had high praise for the guitarist. “I know all about guitar players —I’ve seen the very best — and Scott Sharrard is the perfect guitarist for my band. He understands that you don’t need to play just for the sake of playing; Scott isn’t one of those guys who thinks they’re getting paid by the note. He never steps on the vocals, and leaves plenty of room for everyone else to do their thing, but when it’s time to solo, Scott delivers, boy.”

While most recently acting as Musical Director & Co-Writer for Allman and recently recording his last record "Southern Blood" in Muscle Shoals, Scott has also been concentrating on the growth of his solo career while holding Gregg's legacy near and dear as a guiding light and point of everlasting inspiration. His next album "Saving Grace" has been recorded and will be released in 2018.

Gratefully Yours is a Grateful Dead cover band, founded in 2012 by keyboardist Alex Mazur and based out of New Paltz, NY. However, “cover band” is an extremely misleading term when it comes to the music of Gratefully Yours. Their willingness and ability to improvise, and their openness to the spontaneity and the energy of the moment lie at the core of their performances and truly sets them apart. It is about creating that Grateful Dead magic that Gratefully Yours truly aims to “cover” and pay tribute to. They also allow their audience to submit their own dream set lists, which Gratefully Yours just might choose and use as a template for one of their shows… taking their connection to their crowd to another level.. The band members are all long time highly regarded players in the scene: Alex Mazur, Jeff Prescott, Adam Czolowski, Tom Pirozzi, Robert Schiff and Jessica Barlow

Traffic:
The original Traffic had two phases. The first , a winsomely psychedelic pop band that blending blues, folk, rock, and R&B, fronted by Steve Winwood - best-known for his lead vocals with the Spencer Davis Group - and Dave Mason. After Mason, the band became Winwood's vehicle for longer, moodier excursions that leaning into to jazz and soul. Traffic was exceedingly popular in both incarnations.

In 1970, while Winwood was recording his first solo album, "Mad Shadows", Capaldi and Wood sat in on some sessions. That LP became Traffic's fifth and most commercially successful album, "John Barleycorn Must Die", a gold album and a staple of "progressive" FM radio. This was followed by another gold album, "The Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys" in 1971.

Members of King Crimson, Shriekback and Gabriel's original band bring these genre-less masterpieces into the 21st Century. Seattleites Trey Gunn and Michael Cozzi join esteemed drummer Jerry Marotta and NY keyboardist David Jameson to harness the core of these songs. Added to the pedigree of these players is the voice of Happy Rhodes. Her 4-octave range is the latest edition to this mesmerizing group.

With the addition of Happy on lead vocals, The Security Project is able to dig deeper into Gabriel’s material and take it even further (imagine Kate Bush singing Gabriel tunes with The Security Project as the instrumentalists.) Marotta says “Happy brings with her the chance to play other material we have always talked about doing. Stuff from David Sylvian, Kate Bush and other gems from Trey’s and my past work, in addition to Happy’s catalog. We are excited!”

“The Security Project Live is a beautifully reverential and creative reinterpretation of these Peter Gabriel classics!” – Kevin Killen, engineer of Gabriel's “So” record

Terry Adams, visionary, driving force and "untamed genius of the keyboards" for NRBQ since the band's inception over four decades ago, is one of music’s true originals. Adams reignited the legendary Quartet with the addition of Scott Ligon on guitar & vocals, Conrad Choucroun on drums, and newest band member Casey McDonough on bass & vocals.

The 2011 NRBQ studio album, Keep This Love Goin’ and the new live CD We Travel the Spaceways show the NRBQ magic - great musicianship, emotion, fearlessness, and fun – is intact. “Ability to groove like no other band on the planet,” says popmatters.com. “Fans will find spontaneity, humor, breadth, and musical know-how…” says No Depression. “Music no one can make anymore.” says the Detroit Metro-Times.

And live? “…the current incarnation lived up to the legacy. They reclaimed not only the vast NRBQ catalog of songs and loose-as-a-goose sound, but also the band’s wildly unpredictable spirit on stage. Their willingness to step way out on a limb has always been one of NRBQ’s most endearing qualities, and in the contemporary world of pre-packaged, cookie-cutter pop stars, it’s sure great to have them back,” said the Albany Times-Union. Added the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, "Meet the new Q, as fun as the old Q. NRBQ is still liable to play anything. Roaring rockabilly, transcendent pop-rock, roadhouse blues, avant jazz – you name it, Adams claims it and reframes it. The new band is a revelation, capable of playing nearly the whole NRBQ catalog, which dates back to 1966.”

Project/Object - The Music Of Frank Zappa feat. Napoleon Murphy Brock and Denny Walley! !

Project/Object is the longest continually touring alumni-based Zappa tribute band in the world. For nearly twenty five years they have toured and performed Zappa music with more of his bandmates than anyone other than Zappa himself.

Project/Object tours of the USA, Canada & Europe have paved the way for a rich variety of excellent, contemporary Zappa tribute acts. ! !

Project/Object has brought most of the currently touring Zappa alumni out of retirement and onto the road. Musicians from every era of Zappa’s history have performed with Project/Object. This tour reunites old bandmates Napoleon Murphy Brock & Denny Walley, with a setlist featuring material that they performed on tour together with Frank, as well as Zappa classics and faves from other albums they did with him.! !

Napoleon Murphy Brock, the frontman vocalist/saxophonist for Zappa’s early seventies bands, first appeared on the breakthrough album Apostrophe (‘), then the incredibly popular Roxy and Elsewhere and One Size Fits All. He appeared with Denny Walley on the iconic Bongo Fury, which documents Zappa’s 1975 collaborative tour with his old friend Captain Beefheart. Brock went on to tour with fellow Zappa alum George Duke, reaching new heights in the hugely popular George Duke Band. Napoleon later provided harmony vocals for Sheik Yerbouti, one of Zappa’s biggest selling albums. He also appears on Thingfish and YCDTOSA - Helsinki.! !

Denny Walley, a key member of Zappa’s mid 70s and early 80s tours, is the band member that goes back the furthest with Frank - they met during the 8th grade! Denny brought his incendiary slide guitar work to many Zappa tours and albums, splitting time as Captain Beefheart’s slide guitarist as well. Denny appears on arguably Beefheart’s greatest work: Bat Chain Puller, and on Zappa favorites like Joe’s Garage and You Are What You Is. Denny not only performed with Zappa on SNL a few times, but later became a set-builder for the show!!

Pamela Sue Mann is a Berklee College of Music alumna keyboardist and has toured internationally - as a solo artist and as a backing vocalist for Suzanne Vega. Currently signed to the Lux Revelry Recordings label. Her next solo album is scheduled for release this fall in the UK, and includes appearances by Michael Tudor, Gerry Leonard, Yuval Lion, Byron Isaacs, Laurie Anderson, Cat Russell and Karel Holas.

Fresh off the wildly successful King Crimson world tour … STICK MEN!

The improvising rock trio like no other formed in 2008. Playing instruments not seen or heard every day, STICK MEN plays captivating and challenging music that embodies the tradition of forward-looking rock music. Levin and Mastelotto, who have been the powerhouse rhythm section of King Crimson for 20+ years, bring that tradition to every note they play. The band takes its name from Levin’s Chapman Stick: strung with both bass and guitar strings, it functions at times like two instruments. Markus Reuter plays his own self-designed touch guitar - again covering much more ground than a guitar or a bass. And Mastelotto's drumming encompasses not just the acoustic kit, but a distinctive electronic setup too, allowing him to add loops, samples, percussion and more.

The result? Audiences are fascinated by watching just three musicians perform pieces like Stravinsky's Firebird Suite, King Crimson's Red and Lark's Tongues in Aspic, plus their own catalog of unique music and wild improvs ranging from haunting to paint-peeling. Don't let your ears miss out on this & in a great room to hear live music!!

With Special Guests; Bernier & DeCarlo and the PGRA Showband.

The Aristocrats – by any measure the hottest new band in instrumental rock/fusion today – rewrote their own rules for their third studio album, Tres Caballeros. After two fairly raw trio albums, guitarist Guthrie Govan (Steven Wilson, Asia/GPS), bassist Bryan Beller (Joe Satriani, Dethklok) and drummer Marco Minnemann (Steven Wilson, Joe Satriani) set up camp at legendary Sunset Sound studios in Hollywood, CA, where Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and Van Halen all recorded landmark albums. The result: Nine new compositions of greater sonic depth and breadth than ever before, with unique textures and lush layering augmenting the band’s preternatural ability to improvise both individually and as a group at the highest levels possible. But not to worry – it’s all still tempered with a steadfast refusal to take themselves too seriously, and The Aristocrats are still having more fun than a fusion band has any right to have. The Tres Caballeros tour will bring the band’s new musical vision in trio form to stages across North America in their most ambitious jaunt yet.
Tour support is provided by the award-winning Travis Larson Band.
